SheWolf Pastificio & Bar
Detroit's modern Roman kitchen — focused on contemporary Italian plates, hand-milled flour pasta, and a wine list that stays classy instead of shouting at you.
Modern Roman cooking, Detroit energy, and no red-sauce nostalgia act.
SheWolf's own site says Chef Anthony Lombardo started the restaurant in Midtown Detroit in 2017 after inviting friends and neighbors into his apartment for intimate dinners focused on the complexity of modern Roman cuisine. The restaurant describes its food as contemporary Italian inspired by old Rome, with fresh vegetables and pasta made from hand-milled flour.
The place leans seasonal and chef-driven. Translation: thoughtful plates, smart wine, and a room that knows exactly what it is doing. Madonna mia, it has manners.
